45 Shelves

The 45 shelves are conceived as a long surface that provides support for various activities and functions, meandering along the walls of a living room. The design achieves a rich solution with simple and repetitive pieces, facilitating the fabrication and assembly on site. The design in 45 degree angles makes the shelves rigid for supporting heavy pices and even occasional sitting areas, as well as providing a simple and self-bracing fixing system, with single screws at each joint. The shelves are made in 25mm and 15mm Poplar plywood sheets, pre-cut in CNC machine by Scale Studios, and assembled on site.
